SUMMARY:Full Gas Handicap Series 2026 - Round 2
DESCRIPTION:TAP HERE TO ENTER  – All entries will be handled through the Event Suite App / Website \nWelcome to a brand new mini series – The Full Gas Handicap series!  Taking place on the last Wednesday of the month in June\, July & August these will be separate from our regular Wednesday evening Summer Circuit Series races (league points will not apply). \nTHE FORMAT \n\nRace 1\n\nIn case you are unfamiliar with Handicap racing\, here are the rules.  3 groups of similar ability riders will be set off at 1 minute intervals. The aim of the first group set off is to stay ahead of the 2 chasing groups whilst the goal of the chasing groups is to catch the groups ahead.  It pays off to start fast and work together to have the best chance of making sure your group is first over the line. British cycling points will be awarded for the first 10 riders over the line\, regardless of their category or group. The race is only 25 mins + 5 laps so don’t sandbag\, race hard & be rewarded! \nGroup 1 – set off at 19:15 – Open 4th Category & Women E/1/2/3/4\nGroup 2 – Set off at 19:16 – Open 3rd Category\nGroup 3 – Set off at 19:17 – Open E/1/2 \nSpaces will be limited to 20 riders per group. If groups numbers are very unbalanced we may look to adjust this on the night. \n\nRace 2\n\nThe handicap race will be followed by a regular Open E/1/2/3 category race. Starting at 20:00\, this will be 40 mins + 5 laps in length. \nPODIUMS & PRIZES \nWe will be holding podiums and awarding prizes after each race. \nENTRIES & TRANSFERS \nOnce accepted\, entries cannot be transferred or refunded. \nTAP HERE TO ENTER  – All entries will be handled through the Event Suite App / Website
