7Entries are now open for the 2027 Masters Track World Championships.

The 2027 UCI Masters Track World Championships will be held at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales in Newport between 04th & 10th of October.

The move is due to rising costs of travel,  accommodation, and logistical challenges associated with navigating a capital city

Newport offers a World class venue for racing with greater flexibility around additional on site services. We hope this will simplify the logistical challenges and also offer availability for motor home parking and on site camping.

For 2027 we are pleased to introduce a pricing scale to encourage early entries.

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

• • Article 3.9.001 – Participation in the UCI Masters Track World Championships

All 35 years old and older riders holding a master license shall be entitled to participate in the UCI Masters Track World Championships, except the following:

1. Any rider who was a member of any track team registered with the UCI in the current season. The season is the period referred to in the second indent of article 3.3.003.

2. Any rider who has participated in any World Championships, Olympic Games, Continental Championships, Regional Games or World Cup in the current year in the track discipline (para excluded), except for the races that are open to masters only.

• • Article 3.9.002 – Licenses

All participants for the UCI Masters Track World Championships must present a valid license to the competition’s headquarters in order to be given a race number and be permitted to participate. The license must have been issued by the rider’s UCI affiliated national federation and must be valid for an entire calendar year.

I acknowledge that failure to comply with these criteria will prevent me from taking part in the competition.”
